SACRILEGE B.C., SKINLAB Members Join Forces In SLOB

February 25, 2009

What happens when a bunch of old-school San Francisco Bay Area thrashers get together to do something completely different? Strephon Taylor, former frontman of SACRILEGE B.C., was approached to create some new music and decided to come up with a storyline more in tune with his turning 40 than relive the "burn-the-world" attitude of his youth. The end result is the band SLOB, which is described as "a modern homage to Cheech and Chong." The group's new CD, "Fast Food and Heavy Metal", contains "nine tracks of comedy skits and songs that are a day in the life of SLOB. Funny hard rock songs and a lethal dose of drug humor will have you rolling on the floor, as long as you toked up before you hit play."

SLOB is:

Strephon Taylor (SACRILEGE B.C.) - Vocals
Tim Howell (SACRILEGE B.C., RE:IGNITION) - Guitar
Steve "Snake" Green (SKINLAB, RE:IGNITION) - Bass
Mark Hernandez (FORBIDDEN, DEMONICA, RE:IGNITION, DEFIANCE, SOCIAL UNREST) - Drums
